The Student Senate is a body that meets weekly to plan, implement and evaluate college activities and polices that directly impact students.

To become an ASB Senator you need to:

• Collect 50 signatures of registered Gavilan students.
• Meet the GPA and unit requirements as set forth in the ASB Bylaws.
• Submit your name for nomination at a Senate meeting to be confirmed as a voting member.
