The officers are the Executive Cabinet of the ASB. Officers are elected during the Spring semester. Candidates must be enrolled in at least 5 units, have a minimum GPA of 2.0, and obtain the signatures of 150 registered students (except the Student Trustee who is required to obtain the signatures of 10% of the student body - as of the Fall registration). The election is held during the last weeks of April. Officer vacancies are filled by appointment by the ASB president. If you are interested in a position, please contact the ASB at 848-4777. Advisor - Johanna Stewart

Johanna Stewart is a counselor at Gavilan.  As advisor to the ASB she works closely with the Student Senate to represent all Gavilan College students', educational, political and social interests on campus. This includes the coordination of clubs, various social and cultural activities. She also teaches the Contemporary Leadership class.
