Steve is currently employed by Gavilan College and as a Deputy Harbormaster with
the Santa Cruz Harbor Police. He resides in Scotts Valley and is married with three children.

Wayne Jones

Wayne Jones is a veteran law enforcement officer who has worked for San Jose Police Department
for over 20 years. He has worked a variety of assignments during his law enforcement career including
patrol, investigations, K-9, training, and recruiting. He is a nationally known expert in the field of
Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) and is a certified instructor in
weapon less defensive tactics.

Alan Johnson comes to Gavilan College after over thirty years in law enforcement with the following agencies:

• Northern California High Intensity Drug Traffic Area - Deputy Director

Alan lives in Saratoga with his wife and daughter.
