SUMMER/FALL 2014 SCHEDULE

The Summer schedule will be available online by April 18. The Fall schedule will be available online by the end of April.

The Summer Term begins on Monday June 9, 2014.

NOTE: Some Summer classes begin on June 2nd (before the regular term) and on June 16th and later (after the start of the term). Check schedule for details.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Priority Level When Who Requirements
Level 1 May 5-7 and onward

Only students who are members of the following groups:

CalWorks

DRC

EOPS

Foster Youth*

Vets

Continuing Students

  • fewer than 100 units excluding up to 30 units of basic skills and/or ESL classes AND
  • good academic standing (not on Probation 2 or Dismissal)

New Students who have never previously attended college--Spring 2014 and beyond--must have successfully completed:

  • Assessment
  • Orientation
  • Education Plan (abbreviated or comprehensive)

*Foster Youth are exempt from core matriculation, academic standing and unit requirements.

Level 2 May 8 and onward

Only students who are members of the following groups:

Athletes

MESA

Puente

TRIO

Continuing Students:

  • fewer than 100 units excluding up to 30 units of basic skills and/or ESL classes AND
  • good academic standing (not on Probation 2 or Dismissal)

New Students who have never previously attended college--Spring 2014 and beyond--must have completed

  • Assessment
  • Orientation
  • Education Plan (abbreviated or comprehensive)
Level 3 May 9-13 and onward All other Continuing Students, New Students who have completed requirements, GECA

Continuing Students

  • fewer than 100 units excluding up to 30 units of basic skills and/or ESL classes AND
  • good academic standing (not on Probation 2 or Dismissal)

New Students who have never previously attended college--Spring 2014 and beyond--must have completed

  • Assessment
  • Orientation
  • Education Plan (abbreviated or comprehensive)
Level 4 May 14 onward All Continuing Students on probation 2 or dismissal, New Students who have not completed requirements, High School Students, High Step Students, All other students. Be admitted to the College with an active Gavilan ID number

 

HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT REGISTRATION DEADLINES

NOTE: High School students may register for open classes only. Add codes or late registration is not permitted.
  • Summer Term 2014: June 6 at 11:30am.
  • Fall Term 2014: August 15, 2014 11:30am.
