KIN81C: KICKBOXING FITNESS - LEVEL 3
This course utilizes punches and kicks in a combination kickboxing routine and physical conditioning in a cardio exercise program. Emphasis will be on student's exercising at a high (60% - 80% THR) intensity level. This course has the option of a letter grade or pass/no pass. Courses should be taken in sequential order.
- Students will describe the principles (FITTE) of a cardiovascular fitness program and incorporate them in kickboxing class workouts.
- Students will increase their cardiovascular fitness by participating in kickboxing class workouts at 60% - 80% of their THR.
- Students will demonstrate at least six kickboxing combination routines (punches and kicks combined) utilizing both their dominate and nondominate sides.
